This article will outline the process for creating Audit Control Pools in the Quality Module.

Creating Audit Control Pools in the Quality Module
- Navigate to the Quality Module and choose Audit/ Audit Control/Audit Control Tool from the menu on the left.
- Choose the + icon to create a new Audit record.
- Audit Control is setting up pools of license holders to be approved and then audited based on CE Activities submitted already in the system.
- Be sure to select the Status, License/Registration Type, Audit Year, and Start/End dates for the License/Registration holders this Audit is to be pulling from.
- Be sure to also select the total Percentage of your Licensee/Registrant population to include in this audit. You can choose up to a 100% to audit all license holders who meet the Type and Status criteria for the licenses included in this audit pool
- You must select the automatic email templates that will be sent as an Initial email, Reminder email, and Past-due or Late email templates.
- Emails can be triggered by clicking the appropriate icons in the top toolbar once the Audit Control is created.

Note: Depending on the status of the Audit, you may see the email template triggers and audit approval check in slightly different location.

- The “check” icon approves the pool of License holders who meet the Audit Control criteria.
- It is important to note the client will need to review the Individual’s CE Plan one by one to verify completion, this audit simply verifies that the Licensee submitted required hours/units.
- Under “Connections” click on Audits to see the detailed pool of license holders who have been selected to be audited.
- NOTE: The Audit Control tool simply selects the pool of random license holders who meet the criteria outlined above. The investigation of the quality of the CE Activity submitted is on your administrators
