Steps for Portal Users
- Begin a process such as a new application, license renewal, reinstatement, authorization, or any custom process where an exam is required.
- When you reach the stage requiring an examination, click Start Exam.
- If payment is required, you must complete payment before starting.
- The exam may have a time limit and a minimum passing score, which will be displayed.
- Complete all multiple-choice questions. Some questions may be mandatory and always appear, while others may be randomly selected from a question pool, so the exam may look different on each attempt.
- After finishing, you’ll see your score.
- If you pass, you can move forward to the next stage of the application or process.
- If you do not pass, you may attempt the exam again, provided attempts remain.
- The system may require a retake fee for second and subsequent attempts.
- The maximum number of attempts and exam expiration date are configurable and will be displayed to you.
- If you reach the maximum allowed attempts before passing:
- You cannot continue with the current application or process.
- You will need to cancel and reapply after the exam expiration date passes.
Quick Tips
- Make sure you have a stable internet connection and enough uninterrupted time to finish before the time limit (if any).
- Review any reference materials provided by your regulator before starting.
- If you have technical issues during the exam, reach out to your regulator’s support contact listed in the portal.
