Thentia Cloud release notes: Version 1.41.0 — Portals-only update (February 16, 2024)

Note: This release only includes updates to Thentia Cloud Portals, and does not include any changes to Thentia Cloud Workbench. As a result, the (Workbench) version number remains the same as the previous version.

New features and enhancements: Portals

Education Provider Portal

  • The Education Provider Portal and Inspection Portal are now integrated. After a licensee submits an initial Provider or Program application (or a renewal application for a Program) in the Education Provider Portal, there is now a new Pending Inspection option in the Application Status dropdown on the application record in the Workbench: if you select this option, the system will automatically create an inspection in the Inspection Portal that is tied to the application. In addition, there is now also a new Inspections page in the Education Provider Portal that lists new and past inspections.
    • Additional Portals affected: Inspection
  • When a licensee uses the File Upload function on the Upload Roster page, the dates in the uploaded CSV file will now be validated against the start and end dates of the applicable Program: if any dates in the CSV file are invalid (are not within the start and end date of the Program), an error message will be displayed and the CSV file will not be accepted.

Inspection Portal

  • When an inspector selects the status Not Compliant for any item on an Inspection Checklist, the system would previously set the Apply Fine setting to Yes automatically. This behavior has now been adjusted so that the system automatically selects the No setting instead, making it easier for the inspector to use their discretion about when to apply a fine.
  • Updated the way Inspection Reports are displayed to make it clearer when a table row represents a heading, rather than a question: table rows that are headings now only display the heading name (formatted in bold text) in the first column, and do not display any values under the other columns.

Licensee Portal

  • Added support for Authorization applications to the Portal Process Step entity (port_processstep), making it possible to change the order of pages in the Authorization application process.
    • Related Workbench module: Workflow
  • When displaying Continuing Education Program Activities in the Licensee Portal, the number of hours shown in the Total Submitted this CE Period column no longer counts hours from CE Program Activities that have a Date of Completion that is not within the CE Period shown.

New features and enhancements: Workbench

Bug fixes: Portals

All Portals

  • Fixed a bug that was preventing Portal users from resetting and changing their passwords.
  • Fixed a bug that caused users to be redirected to the main page when trying to navigate between pages in an application or renewal process.
  • Fixed a bug that was preventing Portal users from changing the email address on their user profiles.

Business Licensing Portal

  • Fixed a bug where it was not possible to generate a certificate or wallet card for a business if the business license number contained a space.

Education Provider Portal

  • Fixed a bug where multiselect controls were not working on custom pages added to the Education Provider Portal.
  • Fixed a bug that was causing a network error to be displayed when a Portal user clicked on Delete on an item on a custom page.
  • Fixed a bug that was preventing Portal users from starting (or continuing) a Provider application if the related application process had not been configured with Declaration Questions or Attestations.
  • Fixed a bug where clicking on the Review button on a Program application would only display the application form screenshots to the user who submitted the application. Now, all authorized users for the Provider (even those added later) can view these screenshots when logged in to the Education Provider Portal.

Inspection Portal

  • Fixed a bug where, when setting multiple items on an Inspection Checklist as Not Compliant and setting Apply Fine to Yes, the Affirm and Submit page of the inspection would only show would one of the multiple applied fee items.
  • Fixed a bug where the placeholders were not being properly populated with data in the email notification that an Inspection Report is ready for review.
  • Fixed a bug where items on an inspection that were marked as Not Compliant were displayed as Compliant on the Inspection Report in some cases.

Licensee Portal

  • Fixed a bug where, when clicking on Next Page while taking an examination, the browser was not scrolling back up to the top of the page when the new page loaded.

Bug fixes: Workbench
