Thentia Cloud Platform Enhancements

Description Location

1. Show/Hide Preferred and Previous Name fields on the Public Register Search Results: Regulators can now show or hide the Preferred Name (Preferred First Name, Previous Middle Name, Previous First Name, or Previous Last Name) of applicants in the search results on the public registry.

To facilitate the use of this new feature, the preferred name of an applicant must be entered into the “Preferred First Name” field in the Public Register Record entity (reg_publicregisterrecord).

Note: Configuration assistance is required. This is linked to the Platform item: “Preferred First Name on the public register record”.

2. Thentia Pay – Cancel/Back URL: The Thentia Pay payment processor will now attach the transaction id to the cancel/back URL redirect request so that the portal can pick up the correct payment transaction. This ensures the page to return to when cancelling a payment is properly identified in the request.

3. Add country field for /thentiacloud/5.0/geo/search-address endpoint: The Country parameter has been added to the “/thentiacloud/5.0/geo/search-address” endpoint to allow restricting the country of the result address during a search.

5. Radio button to hide registration class in public register: The ability to hide specific classes in the public register search results is now available.

To facilitate this new functionality, the radio button “Hide from Public Register” (Yes/No/Unset) has been added to the following entities in the workbench:

  • Business License Class (reg_permitclass)
  • Facility Type (reg_facilitytype)
  • Registration Class (reg_classofregistration)

The settings for this new attribute are:

  • “Yes” – The specific class will be hidden in the public register search results.
  • “No” – The specific class will appear in the public register search results.
  • “Unset” – This disables the “Hide from Public Register” functionality in the public register. The specific class will still appear in the public register search results.

6. Allow Future Graduation Date: Regulators can now allow applicants to enter a future graduation Date when submitting an application in the portal.

To facilitate the use of this new functionality, in the Education History Configuration section of the Portal Configuration entity (port_site), there is a new attribute:

  • Allow Future Graduation Date (Yes/No/Unset) – When this is set to “Yes”, the graduation date can be a future date and will display in the portal for the applicant. When this is set to “No” or “Unset”, a graduation date in the future cannot be entered in the portal.

7. Process Step Config for Renewals and Reinstatements: Similar to the Application process, regulators now have the ability to configure the order of steps for renewals and reinstatements in the Licensee Portal.

To facilitate the use of this new functionality, in the Portal Process Step entity (port_processstep), there are now two new attributes:

  • Registration Class – The lookup to the Registration Class entity.
  • Reinstatement Process (Yes/No/Unset) – This indicates if this portal process step applies to the license reinstatement process when set to “Yes”. When this is set to “No” or “Unset”, the portal process step does not apply to the license reinstatement process.

8. Preferred First Name on the public register record: A new attribute called “Preferred First name” has been added to the Public Register Record entity (reg_publicregisterrecord). For each registered applicant that has a preferred first name specified, the preferred first name will be displayed with this attribute on the public register.

9. Field Creation Request-File-Upload Format Extension: The file formats that are allowed during a file upload and which were previously hardcoded are now configurable.

To facilitate the use of this new functionality, in the Configuration section of the Portal Configuration entity (port_site), there is now a new attribute:

  • Allowed File Extensions – Enter a comma-separated list of the various file format extensions (e.g., jpg, jpeg).

Description Location

1. The record limit must be manually raised for the data synchronization process to properly synchronize and store all records when there are 2 million or more records.

2. The date field is now being parsed correctly in the platform, regardless of the time zone.

3. When the date and time are entered and saved in the portals, the entered values will now be maintained when populated in the platform.

1. Hide Application Category if No Active Applications: The application category is now hidden on the portal whenever the category is not linked to an active application type. This means the application type may be set to “Inactive” on an application category record or the application category has not been linked to an application type.

2. Hide License Class from Public Registry: Regulators now have the ability to hide license classes from the search results in the public registry.

To facilitate this new functionality, there is now a new attribute in the following entities:

  • Business License Class (reg_permitclass),
  • Facility Type (reg_facilitytype),
  • Registration Class (reg_classofregistration)

The new attribute is:

  • “Hide from Public Register” (Yes/No/Unset) – This hides the license class from the public registry search results when set to “Yes”.

3. Allow applicants to enter future dated graduation date: Applicants can now specify a graduation date in the future when submitting an application in the portal.

To facilitate the use of this new functionality, there is now a new attribute in the Education History Configuration section of the Portal Configuration entity (port_site):

  • Allow Future Graduation Date (Yes/No/Unset) – When this is set to “Yes”, the graduation date can be a future date and will display in the portal for the applicant.

Thentia Cloud Portals Bug Fixes

Description Location

1. When processing the payment for an application, the payment waiver statement will no longer display HTML tags.

2. The correct acronym for the customer’s portal short name is now being populated using the tag {{sysmsg:legalname}} in the E-mail Template entity.

3. After creating a business license application that has key contacts, the following occurs:

  • The Key Contacts record is stored under the business’ “Pending Key Contacts” in the workbench.
  • When the key contact’s supporting document is uploaded from the Upload supporting document page, the record is stored as a new record in the “Key Contacts Change Request entity within the workbench and will still be displayed on the Upload supporting document page in the portal.

4. When there is a custom page in the portal, the pages total count indicator will now display the correct page numbers on all pages.

5. If the file upload option on the Declaration Question page of a business license application is made mandatory (“Requires Upload” is set to “Yes”) through the workbench’s Business License Declaration Question entity (reg_permitdeclarationquestion), then uploading a file is necessary and the field will be marked with a red asterisk in the portal. An error message will be displayed if attempting to save an application when a file is not uploaded but is required.

6. When renewing a business licence in the portal, the user will now be redirected to the custom page rather than the standard application or renewal page after replacing the standard business licence application or renewal Staff page with a custom page (for example, the managing pharmacist custom page) in the workbench.

7. In the portal for the license renewal (Psychologist Step 4), the place where hidden fields would display when not hidden will now no longer show extra white space.

8. When using custom pages for the initial license applications (e.g., MA and MB licenses), if there is no information or field that is marked as required (red asterisk) on the Education page, the note that indicates all information with a red asterisk is required will not be displayed.

9. When custom pages are used in the license reinstatement process, the licensee will be able to navigate to all steps or pages in the process.

10. Queue Type is now being saved for credit card payments on the Document Request page in the portal.

11. In the portals, where there is the option to do a file upload, the supported file extensions (“jpg”, “jpeg”, “doc”, “docx”, “pdf”, “gif”, “png”, “csv”, “xlsx”, “xls”, “txt”) can now be in upper or lower case in the file name.

12. The “Application Review” hyperlink is now generating for submitted and approved applications on MacOS workstations using Safari 15.

13. The description text for an uploaded file will now be displayed correctly when there is an “Upload File” or “Choose Files” option on a custom page.
