Thentia Cloud Platform Enhancements

Description Location

1. Limit concurrent user sessions to Thentia Cloud: As part of the System Access Control requirement, Thentia Cloud has been modified to constrain the number of concurrent sessions per user profile, for those applications accessing CJI, unless authorized based upon operational business needs.

2. Business license Document Template: Regulators now have the ability to create and link a business license document template to a business license application.

To facilitate the use of this new feature, there is a new entity called Business license Document Template (reg_businesslicensedocumenttemplate).

The attributes are:

  • Name – The name of the business license document template.
  • Business License Type – The lookup to the Business License Class entity.
  • Business License Status – The lookup to the Business License Status entity.
  • Document Template – The lookup to the Document Template entity.
  • Display Ordinal – The number indicating the display order of this business license document template in the portal.
  • Disable Download (Yes/No/Unset) – This indicates if the option that allows downloading this Business license Document Template is disabled. If set to “Yes” it is disabled. If set to “No” or “Unset” the option to download the Business license Document Template is enabled and using it is optional.

3. Disable Key Contacts: Regulators requested to have the option to hide key contacts in the Business Licensing portal.

To enable the use of this new feature, in the Portal Configuration entity (port_site), there is now a new attribute:

  • Disable Key Contacts (Yes/No/Unset) – This indicates the key contact field is displayed when set to “Yes”. The key contact field is not displayed in the portal when this is set to “No” or “Unset”.

4. Field Creation Request – Require Country: On the Personal Information page in the portals, the “Country” field is no longer being controlled by the “Require Residency Country” (Yes/No/Unset) radio button in the Portal Configuration.

To facilitate this change, in the Personal Information Configuration section of the

Portal Configuration entity (port_site), there is now a new attribute:

  • Require Country (Yes/No/Unset) – This indicates if selecting the country is required in the portal. When this is set to “Yes”, the country is required and must be selected in the portal. The country is not required if this is set to “No” or “Unset”.

1. The issue reported by several clients has been fixed. The new mail merge report, licensee communications report and certified healthy applications report has been modified to ensure that the correct data is automatically populated and properly synchronized.

1. Allow multiple business certificates per business license: Regulators now have the ability to configure different business documents/certificates per business license class, similar to what is done for individual licenses in the Registration Document Template entity (reg_documenttemplate) or authorizations in the Authorization Document Template entity (reg_authorizationdocumenttemplate).

2. Disable Key Contacts: The request from several clients to have the ability to disable key contacts from within the Workbench has been completed. This is to ensure that key contacts are not displayed in the portal (e.g., applications, renewals, left navigation menu), as this is not part of the business requirement.

Thentia Cloud Portals Bug Fixes

Description Location

1. In the Authorization Application entity (reg_authorizationapplication) within the Workbench, after changing the status of a submitted authorization application record to “Approved” and then clicking Save, the correct “Decision Date” is now automatically populated in the portal.

2. In the portal’s left navigation menu, navigating from one active step to another for an application will no longer result in the active step becoming inactive.

3. In the portal, on the Declaration page, the extra space has been removed from between the “Error message text” and the “Please upload supporting documentation*” text.

The Declaration pages for authorization, reinstatement, and renewals of licensees, as well as applications for individual registrations were affected by this issue.

4. On a portal custom page with a date field, after clicking on a date field, the calendar widget will now open only once for that date field.

5. Across all portals, bold navigation items will now remain in bold after the user has performed an action. Some examples are:

  • In the Business Licensing Portal, after clicking on a navigation item, the license nav item will stay bold when the application is started.
  • In the Inspector Portal, after opening an inspection record using the assigned, completed, or unassigned nav item, the nav item will stay bold.
  • In the School Portal, after adding a student using “Add student” link, the nav item will now remain in bold.

6. In the portal, on the Document Request Page, the error message “This field is required” is now displaying for the “Related License” and “Recipient Type” whenever the values are not selected by the user.

7. When processing a renewal, on the Employment Information page, the user will now only be able to click the “Save and Continue” button once.

8. All postal codes will now be validated, and valid postal codes will be accepted when entering them as part of an address.

9. On all address pages in the portals, international addresses are now being properly validated. Address information can include validated information such as the county, province, country, postal code, and phone numbers.

10. On the Personal Information page in the portals, the “Country” field is no longer being controlled by the “Require Residency Country” (Yes/No/Unset) radio button in the Portal Configuration. This means the country for the mailing address will no longer be changed or hidden if the business address country is hidden or changed.

11. The View Registration button will display on the Business Register profile custom page and clicking on this button will now redirect the user to the associated individual profile in the public register.
