Thentia Cloud Portals Enhancements

Description Location

1. The new Number Managers entity created in the Platform Workflow module will help in the generation of sequential numbers for different records in the Portal. For example, invoice number, inspection number, business application number, business license number, etc. in the Thentia Cloud Portal.

Back-end

2. A new Facility module has been created in the Business Licensing Portal which will allow the user to submit facility applications and facility renewals. Business users will be able to print facility certificates from the Business Licensing Portal.

An Inspection module has also been created in the Business Licensing Portal. This module will allow business owners to view past inspections and pay for inspection fees. Automated invoices will be created based on inspection type and result. Since inspectors can be licensees of the board, they will be able to use the Inspector Portal. Also, inspections can now be customized into types. This means that a specific type of inspector can only inspect a business or facility of the corresponding type.

This new functionality will ensure that inspections can occur on both a business and facility level. These inspections need to be passed for license creation or renewals.

Business Licensing Portal and Inspector Portal

3. In the Continuing Education section, sometimes a license is approved after the CE period Start Date for fixed CE Periods. For this scenario, a new functionality has been implemented to allow proration of Minimum Required Hours and Minimum Units Allowed and Maximum Units Required required for each Category.

Licensee Portal

4. In the Continuing Education section, CE Period can now be configured as multiple rolling License Period. This means that while the license must be renewed same time every year (e.g., on 10th March in 2022, 2023, 2024….), the CE Period can now be renewed the same every 2 to 3 years etc. (e.g., 10th March in 2022, 2024, 2026….).

Licensee Portal

5. When an application is submitted, there is an existing functionality in the portal which captures a screenshot of every page submitted for an application and stores it in the Platform for verification purposes. The new functionality added in this development cycle will also create a PDF of all the captured screenshots and attach it to the application record. This PDF can be downloaded clicking on the Download PDF button after completing the application in the portal.

Application Portal

6. The operation of syncing the online public register records between the platform and the portal has now been moved from the portal server to the platform server. This will help speed up the process of syncing these records.
