Introduction
This articles provides step-by-step instructions on how to download data from a record such a licensee’s/registrant's profile, application, Etc..
Steps to initiate a Record Download
1. Select any Module from the Module Selector.
For this article the Register module will be used as an example.
2. Open the Menu with (hamburger icon) in the upper left and select an option.
- Applications
- Licenses
- Registrations
- Renewals
- Etc.
3. Locate the record that you'd like Download the Data for.
Double click on the record to open it.
4. With the record open, click on the Download option along the top of the screen.
5. Click the Confirm button in the pop-up window to begin creating the download file.
Note: The Workbench will now pull together all the information and connections associated with the record you've selected. Because of the potential size of the file, the file will need to be prepared.
6. An Email Notification will be sent to you (the system user) when the file is ready to be downloaded. The automatically generated email will provide instructions on accessing the file from your Data Exports area.
Accessing files in the Data Export area
1. Select the Workflow Module from Module Selector.
2. Open the expandable Menu in the upper left.
3. Select the Data Exports option under the Data Management header.
Note: You may need or want to change your view to access All Data Exports or My Data Exports.
4. Locate your prepared file.
Double click to access.
Note: Use the data points such as Created On, Created By, and Status to find your relevant file and determine whether it has been downloaded.
5. Access the Files option on the lefthand menu located under the Files & Activities heading.
6. Select the record and click the downward facing arrow icon to Download the file.
7. Once the file downloads, access the zip file in the Downloads folder of your computer.
- Double click to open/expand the zip file.
- View and access contained folders and files.
- The files are saved in PDF format.
