What is the Platform?
The Thentia Cloud Platform is Thentia’s software solution that provides individuals and businesses the ability to apply for licensure and maintain license information. Thentia Cloud also allows the public to search for licensee information and submit complaints. Regulatory board staff use the administrative workbench to review and process applications, renewals, documents, payments, etc. submitted through Thentia Cloud.
What is the difference between Portals and Workbench?
Portals are the sites applicants, licensees, and public use to apply for licensure, review or update license information or look up a licensee or file a complaint. The Workbench is the administrative side of Thentia Cloud allows regulatory board staff to view and manage application and license information.
Can regulatory staff access the portals?
Regulatory board staff do not have access to the portals. Submitted information is reviewed through the Thentia Cloud Workbench.
Which web browsers can be used to access Thentia Cloud?
The supported web browsers are: Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox and Apple Safari.
When an applicant is approved for licensure, which portal do they use to access license information?
Once an application has been approved, Thentia Cloud automatically creates a license/registration record and number. Going forward, the licensee logs in to the Licensee portal for all things associated with their license. The licensee may still log in to the Applicant portal if they need to submit another application.
Can an applicant or licensee change their email, password and security questions themselves?

Can I view application documents uploaded by an applicant or licensee?
Yes, documents uploaded by an applicant or licensee can be viewed in the Platform from the record. When viewing the record, select the appropriate link in the navigation panel where items were uploaded to (i.e. Documents, Education Details, etc.). From that screen, open the uploaded item then click Files from the left-hand navigation panel and then select the attached file.
Do login authentication access tokens expire?
An access token code, which is emailed to a user each time they log in to the Thentia Cloud Platform, is valid for 15 minutes. If a code has expired, the user can simply sign in again to receive a new code.
Is there a way to track when new applications or requests have been submitted?
Utilize the Work Queue screen within the Register module of the Thentia Cloud Workbench to keep up to date on new submissions and requests.
Can a licensee change the email address notifications are sent to themselves?
Yes. Licensees can log into the Licensee portal, go to the Personal Information screen and update the ‘Primary Email Address’ field. The email listed in this field is where Thentia Cloud sends system generated notifications. If a licensee also wants to change the email used during login, that’s done via the Account Settings screen.
